Sergio was born and raised in the world’s biggest city: México City. He grew up loving and playing tennis, soccer and American football in the streets of his beloved hometown, where he learned the languages of the streets and found his way into the concrete jungle. He holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from Mexico’s Universidad de la Comunicación (University of Communications). Sergio received a key call from Zeta Publicidad, a small creative boutique agency, which at that time, became one of the hottest, most prestigious and award winning creative shops in Mexico. Bacardi, Televisa Group, Doritos, Inbursa Banking & Insurance were just some of the clients he had the opportunity to work for and provide award winning creative strategy and conceptualization. Opportunities continued to arise for Sergio at the largest multicultural ad agency GlobalHue in Detroit. Sergio worked the Chrysler brand and re-launched impressive nameplates such as Charger and Ram. In addition, he created Hispanic work for the launch of Chrysler’s new nameplate Jeep Commander. Most recently at Aspen Marketing – the largest privately owned DM agency in the US – Sergio has won several awards including 2008 Advertising Age’s Gold for Direct Marketing, 2009 Tempo’s Multicultural Agency of the Year and 2009 Echo’s Leader Award. After a 2-year tenure as Chief Digital Editor in SBS Networks -fastest growing telecommunication company in USA - Sergio came back to his home town to join Euro RSCG México as Creative Director for Audi and Hershey's business.
